When driving home at night the driver had an awe-inspiring encounter. A bear appeared on the road, completely blocking his vehicle. He slammed on the brakes thinking that the bear would eventually lose its interest and leave.

However, what transpired next stunned him. Within a matter of seconds the bear moved closer to his car which, in astonishment began pulling at the door of his car as if it wanted to gain entry.

The man was shocked as he watched the bear, unfrighten and extremely curious, continue trying to unlock the door. He was grateful that he had locked the door tightly, keeping him safe from the bear during that terrifying moment.

In the following days, he spoke to others about what had happened. He said that although he’d had heard of bears living near campsites and roads before however, he didn’t think that it would happen that one would come towards his car to accompany him on an excursion.

The whole incident was a shock to him, a reminder of why it’s crucial to be vigilant and prepared when driving as unexpected events can appear at any moment, even in the course of a normal journey home.
